New concert hall opens in West Palm Beach

West Palm Beach-based Fantasma Productions is proud to announce the early April 2007 opening of its newest Palm Beach County venue, THE THEATRE. Fantasma owns and operates the 325-seat independent cinema and concert hall located at 854 Conniston Rd. in West Palm Beach.

"The Theatre is what the Palm Beaches have been waiting for,” said Fantasma Productions President and owner Jon Stoll, “the return of an intimate concert hall and cinema.”

This is a rare opportunity to see Kevin Smith in a non-collegiate environment. Zoom Suit #1 and #2 Sold Out

The animated short film that led many new fans into comic shops is sold out of issue #1 before the month was up, but with a very small print run, issue two will dry up much more quickly.

Due to Distributor order cutoff dates, comic shop retailers had to
order issues #1, 2 and 3 before experiencing the strong retail sales on Zoom Suit #1. Orders on Zoom Suit issue #2 through Diamond Comics were just over 6,000 copies. However, within days of the release of issue 1, retailers ordered all of Diamonds remaining copies via advance reorders. Once Diamond was sold out, retailers turned to John Taddeo and Superverse for additional copies to meet consumer demand.

ZOOM SUIT #2 (Shipped May 24th) features a story by John Taddeo, with covers by Bart Sears and Keron Grant. The Interior is by Keron Grant and Billy Dallas Patton. Retailers also received a limited edition Armored Legends Edition by Bob Layton.

Heroes Convention 2007 Comes To Charlotte

2007 will mark our 25th Heroes Convention and it looks like a shoo-in to be our biggest HeroesCon ever! The guest list is already huge--as of late July! With first time guests like J. Michael Straczynski and Bryan Hitch, plus an absolutely dizzying number of early confirmees, it promises to be a mammoth show! Thanks to everyone who's supported us throughout the many years since our first convention--without the incredible support of the fans, professionals, and dealers who've made HeroesCon their home each summer, we could never put on a show with the unique quality of HeroesCon!

Hollywood Collectibles Announces Signing

The store that continues to bring you more and more great signing including Bob Fellar, now will have Dwayne Wade, Scott Olsen and Dan Uggla at their store signing.

Dwayne Wade from the Miami Heat will be signing on July 8th, Scott Olsen and 2007 All-Star Dan Uggla will be signing in store on July 15th. Please note that Dwayne Wade is a private in store signing and you must contact them for pricing and information.
